Meet the Trainers

Michael Perez | Regional Training Director
My name is Michael Perez, Fitness Director of Parkway Athletic Club. I’ve been a trainer for over 17 years and have been working out for over 21 years. My passion is helping empower others to develop and build positive relationships with food, fitness, and life! I come from a sports clinical background and have adapted my training style to work with any health and fitness background. I specialize in body transformation, athletic performance, and clinical rehabilitation. I have a B.S. in Exercise Science and a M.S. in Exercise Physiology. I am currently certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist and a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. My goal is to empower all my clients to see that success and growth is absolutely achievable, with the right plan, modifications, and encouragement.

DJ Larson | Area Director
After a long hard transformation journey of his own, from 300 lbs to 175 lbs, Coach DJ went back to college and attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and 3 Certifications from NASM, 1 from FMS, and various coaching certifications from various institutions. DJ’s passion for helping others began with the study of Deaf Education and truly blossomed during his time at St. Jude’s Supporting his 5 year old son through his battle with brain cancer. There he truly found his calling, to help others on their journey to inspiring others!

Demarus Mayer | Certified Personal Trainer
Hello there! I’m Demarus Mayer. My journey in fitness began with a deep-seated desire to help others achieve their fitness goals, and it has been an incredible ride ever since.
My training philosophy revolves around a holistic approach to health and fitness. I believe in empowering my clients with the knowledge and skills to make lasting lifestyle changes. Corinne Loveless | Certified Personal Trainer
My name is Corinne Loveless. I have been in the fitness industry as a trainer for 5 years. I am currently certified with American Council on Exercise (ACE). I come from a medical background having worked in the dental field for over 12 years. I have always been an active individual in and out of the gym. I enjoy incorporating all styles of training into my exercise routine. I exercise not only to change my body but also as a wife and mom to 3 wonderful children, so it’s important for me to be healthy both mentally and physically for my family. Teaching about balance through nutrition and exercise while honoring your fitness and health commitments is what I strive to do. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind and the results are ALWAYS worth it! I truly love to be a part of every client’s journey, helping reach goals, pushing you to train hard, and help to improve every aspect of your life in a positive and healthy way!
